Though I always love to experiment with materials, I have a few favorites at the moment.
Through The Picturebook Masterclasses I followed by Mark Janssen I made a complete change in style, method and materials.
Lately I use a lot of gouache paint, mostly Talens, Holbein (“normal” and Acrylic) and Winsor & Newton Designers Gouache. I sometimes use watercolor/aquarel paint, my favorite brands are Gansai Tambi and Winsor & Newton. I frequently use colored pencils over the paint. My favorite (since my last birthday ;)) are Caran D’Ache Luminance, but I also love Faber-Castell Polychromos. I recently started experimenting with Caran d’Ache Neocolor’s II.
I use Hahnemühle Britannia and Terschelling paper (both hot pressed 300 g.).
I use the Epson Perfection v550 scanner, photoshop and occasionally procreate (on my ipad pro with an apple pencil). For sketching I use a Clairefontaine sketchbook, mechanical pencil (De Tous les Jours Mes Sttylos) and often a 2b pencil (Faber-Castell).
